Ensemble Holzfabrik

Ensemble Holzfabrik is no ordinary chamber music ensemble. The aim of the group is to bring acting and music together; The usual set-up of a woodwind quintet was extended by an actor. Since the members of the ensemble took part in musicals and operas – for example at the Staatsoper Berlin, the Theater Kiel and Lüneburg, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra – the ensemble has both the technical and creative know-how to combine the two artistic fields. Since its founding in the summer of 2021, the ensemble has already presented dozens of children’s and school concerts. The members of the ensemble have received scholarships from the GVL and the Deutscher Musikrat for their productions.

Ensemble Holzfabrik consists of 5 musicians and 1 actor and is committed to introduce music and story telling to children and young adults.
